CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The Scientific Committee is pleased to invite you to submit abstracts for consideration at the International Meeting ‘Innovations & Progress in Healthcare for Women’ taking place from 9th-11th November, 2009 at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) in London. The focus of the Meeting is: Prevention, Screening and Risk Prediction in Women’s Health.
Original abstracts should be submitted on subjects relevant to the following four themes:
• Cancer
• Fetal & Neonatal
• Obstetrics
• Reproductive Health & Cross-disciplinary
Authors must select one category from the above list that best describes the content of their abstract. This category will be used for reviewing and indexing purposes.
Abstracts must be received by the deadline date of 10th September, 2009.
Abstracts received after this deadline will NOT be accepted.
Faxed or posted abstracts will NOT be accepted.
All abstracts will undergo peer review by the Scientific Committee and will be accepted for oral presentation, poster presentation or rejected.
The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
Submission of an abstract acknowledges your acceptance for the abstract to be published in the official Meeting Abstract Book.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Abstracts must be submitted via this website.
Please click on the Submit Abstracts button and follow the submission instructions carefully.
PLEASE NOTE:
• Allocations of all abstracts are determined by the Abstract Review Committee of the Meeting.
• Only registered delegates may present abstracts and submissions should be accompanied by a completed registration form and the appropriate registration payment.
• Abstracts are not edited by the organisers and author corrections will not be accepted after the final submissions deadline. Abstracts should be checked carefully for accuracy prior to submission.
• Author’s names should be submitted in the format ‘ A. Smith’. The submitting author MUST be the presenting author.
• The title of the abstract should be a maximum of 150 characters.
• Please ensure that the first word of your title starts with a capital letter. All other words (apart from proper nouns) should be in lower case. Do not type your title in CAPITAL letters.
• The abstract may be a maximum of 300 words (2000 characters).
Abstracts exceeding this limit will be truncated.
• The abstracts should be structured using the following headings:
Objective, Methods, Results and Conclusions
