DATE & VENUE
The International Meeting ‘ Innovations & Progress in Healthcare for Women’ will take place from April 7-8, 2008 at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London.

EXHIBITION
An exhibition will be held in conjunction with the meeting in the Benjamin Britten Lounge located on the 3rd floor and next to the main session hall. In addition to the trade exhibits, tea and coffee and lunches will be served in this area.

LANGUAGE
English is the official language of the meeting.

LIABILITY & INSURANCE
The organisers are not able to take any responsibility whatsoever for injury or damage involving persons and property during the meeting. Delegates are advised to take out their own personal insurance to cover travel, accommodation, cancellation and personal effects.

SOCIAL EVENT
All registered delegates and exhibitors are invited to attend a Cheese & Wine Reception on Monday, April 7 in the Mountbatten Lounge of the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre from 18:45 – 20:15 hours.

SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the venue and not immediately outside entrances. As of 1st July smoking is not allowed in any public indoor areas in London.

TRAVEL
The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre is located in the very heart of Westminster and can be reached by London Underground and mainline stations.

TUBE
The Centre’s nearest underground station is Westminster but there are tube links from St James’s Park and the centre is only minutes away from both Waterloo and Victoria mainline stations.

AIRPORTS
London is served by five international airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, London City, Stansted and London Luton. Heathrow airport is just 30 minutes away by car from the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre.

Please be advised that it is quicker and easier to travel here using public transport.

ROAD
The Centre is however within easy reach of the A1, M1, M25, M11, M40, M4, M3, M2 and M23.

CRECHE
